At 18JAV, we believe in a team-based approach when it comes to the treatment and support of people experiencing challenges related to mental health and/or addiction issues. Our Child & Family Services provide inpatient and outpatient programs for clients between the ages of 1-18 and their families across Clackamas County, Multnomah County and Washington County. Child & Family Mental Health Services
Child & Family Outpatient Mental Health Program
Provides therapy, mental health assessments and treatment planning, medication management, skills training and consultation based on client need.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Program (PCIT)
Provides mental health assessment and treatment to children 2-to-6-years old and their families. The program involves weekly sessions and in-home practice. Services can be provided in Spanish.
Children’s Day Treatment Program
Provides mental health treatment and education for children ages 5 to 10 who are experiencing serious psychiatric difficulties. Participation requires school district authorization or referral by local Coordinated Care Organizations or Kaiser Permanente.
Adolescent Day Treatment Program
Provides mental health treatment and education for youth ages 11 to 18 who are experiencing serious psychiatric difficulties. Participation requires school district authorization or referral by local Coordinated Care Organizations.
Nickerson Adolescent Day Treatment Program
Provides mental health treatment and education for youth ages 11 to 18 who are experiencing serious psychiatric difficulties. Participation requires school district authorization, referral by local Coordinated Care Organizations.
Intensive Community Treatment Services (ICTS) Program
Provides intensive treatment services conducted in the home and/or community for children, youth and their families in Multnomah County: Ages 3-18. Participants in this program must meet eligibility requirements and have approval by their Coordinated Care Organization.
Youth Addiction Services
Youth Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Program
Provides alcohol and drug outpatient services for youth ages 12 to 18 and their families.
REAL (Recovery, Empowerment, Achievement in Life) Program
Provides culturally responsive alcohol and drug treatment for adolescent African American youth 12 to 18 years of age. The program includes outpatient, community-based treatment and mentoring. Family and mental health services are included.
